Middle Earth - It was revealed today that longtime Shire-resident Bilbo Baggins has made a formal request to his nephew Frodo to 'just borrow The Ring (of Mordor) for the weekend'.

Bilbo reportedly 'doesn't have anything much going on' this weekend and would like to just 'kick back with The Ring awhile or, barring this, 'just touch it'.

Frodo responded to the request by clumsily clutching the ring to his chest and staring at Bilbo wide-eyed, nostrils flaring, for several seconds.

Bilbo has a history of chronic Ring-abuse.
